I know this is the beginning of the "holiday season" but that doesn't mean you need to fall down the busy hole and forget about your well-being. The goal of The Wellthy Mama newsletter is to help you live a less cluttered and more intentional life. Every 2 weeks, you'll get four resources to keep you "well" by providing you with something to Write, Eliminate, Learn and Love. Let's get into it!
Write
Instead of focusing only on what you want to accomplish, write down one word that describes who you want to be: relaxed, consistent, present, etc. Put it in a location you see often and see if it helps you feel more proud of how you show up!
Eliminate
Throw out 10 spices, sauces or condiments you no longer use. Yup. We both know they're in there somewhere taking up precious space in your cabinets. If you're having a hard time letting go, check the expiration dates. That can provide some quick inspiration!
Learn
Time blocking is the process of dividing your calendar into smaller segments and assigning a single task to each "block". We do this without thinking for meetings and birthdays but have you ever thought about blocking off time for you? The practice can be applied to every waking hour of your day or you can start small by blocking out 30 mins for a walk or a conversation with a friend . Whatever speaks to you, try to time block a little bit of time every day and pay attention to any improvements big or small!
