We just finished our first week back to school and I don’t know about you but I wish I could bottle up this excess positive energy to sustain us all throughout the school year. My kids have been packing their snacks at night, waking with smiles on their faces and getting dressed in lightning speed. It’s like a Disney fairytale with birds chirping and squirrels doing a jig. But, this is the honeymoon phase before the tiredness of homework and after-school activities kicks in. So, I’m getting my ducks in a row now while the vibe is magical so we don’t find ourselves screaming our lungs out before we’ve even had breakfast.
If you find yourself turning into a raging micromanaging administrative assistant before you’ve even had the chance to brush your teeth, then a visual morning routine might just be your saving grace. Here is what has worked for our now 7 and 10 year old and how you can implement it in your home:
Exciting Update!
Squeeee! I can barely contain my excitement because The Wellthy Mama's very first guided journal is headed to print next week. This has been my little labor of love for 2 years and now it's real, y'all!
Inside you'll find thoughtfully designed prompts, curated quotes and a fresh take on journaling that will help you tune out the noise and tune into YOUR wants and needs. Consider it a love letter to yourself - permission to pause, reflect, and rediscover who YOU are while balancing the blessings and demands of motherhood.
I'll share more soon but for now, here's a little sneak peek at the gorgeous title page. Eek! I can't handle it! I’ve ordered 300 copies and 50 are already accounted for. Click the button below to let me know if you want me to reserve you a copy for when they're hot off the press. You’ll be placed on a special email list with the option to purchase before the masses!
Thanks for reading! This newsletter is a reader-supported publication. The best way to support it is to like, comment and share with your fellow mamas.
Until next time, live and be WELL!
My kids LOVE a checklist! Thank you for the idea (I’d been rethinking ours) and a means to encourage independence! We need it just as much as there do!
