My little family of four is moving from the tiny island living of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands to the bigger than life Dallas, Texas. This was not the plan, by any means, by we felt called by God to make this move and he has ordered each and every step along the way.
As you can expect, I have spent quite a lot of time reflecting on what life has been like over the last 9 years and what I would like it to be and the word that comes to mind is SIMPLE.
So, in an effort to start now, I am streamlining this newsletter even more to help you find what you need and to do so quickly. After all, the Wellthy Mama is all about helping you create time for the things that matter most.
I will reserve my deeper thoughts for my blog so watch that space as I dust off the cobwebs. I very much love lists so hopefully, you’ll value this new newsletter format. Without further ado, here are four resources to help you live W.E.L.L.
Work - Otter.ai has been saving me so much time by taking notes for me in meetings, providing summaries and action item lists and answering questions about my call instead of reading through the entire transcript. You get 300 minutes of free transcription a month.
Eliminate - I've been decluttering for our move, and it's amazing what we hold onto. Getting rid of hair and face products I had no plan of ever using again has been so freeing and helps provide a great start to my day. If you want to process to follow, this article from Real Simple has easy to follow steps.
Leisure - I have been walking about 4,000 steps in the morning (according to my fitbit) after I drop the kids off from school and while I still have to convince myself to go most days, I can feel the tide shifting to where I’m looking forward to my walks. Maybe I’ll be a girl who actually likes exercising someday!
Love - I have been loving Joshua Weissman’s cinnamon roll recipe so much I’ve found an excuse to make it 3 times in the last month and I’m making it again this weekend. It doesn’t make sense how good these are. Just do it and prepare to have your mind blown!

9 years! How?? I loved USVI for you but you know I’m thrilled to have to back in the contiguous 💕
Welcome to Dallas! I live north of there in McKinney. If you can stand the humidity and the heat during the summer, the rest of the year is pretty good. :)
