Do yourself a favor…
Stop feeding the lie that your worth is measured by your mistakes.
You know the ones I mean.
The lies that whisper you’re failing as a woman, as a mother, as a child of God.
The ones where you tell yourself you’re not good enough, smart enough, doing enough.
I don’t care if you are struggling at work.
If you made bad decisions financially.
If your kids are having problems in school.
It doesn’t change the fact that you are made in the image of a perfect God who loves you just as you are.
Forget the outcomes.
Forget the things you can’t control.
They never defined you anyway.
Remind yourself whose child you are and show up as such.
Begin today, by spending time with Him and listening to the voice inside you that tells you what the next small step forward looks like.
Trust that He is guiding you through every wobble, stumble and fall.
Because He is. He always has been. He always will be.
And if today feels heavy, listen to this song by Megan Woods. She captured the truth perfectly and I hope it blesses you in the way it blessed me.
AMEN!!!
So good, thank you. My goodness, you have such a grace and way with words.
